Who We Are
Minds in Bloom is a private occupational therapy practice founded and led by Emma Paynter, a licensed Occupational Therapist based in Nova Scotia.
Emma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and MSc in Occupational Therapy and brings over 15 years of clinical experience as an OT supporting children and families across early intervention, school-based practice, and virtual care settings.
Her work focuses on helping children with sensory, developmental, emotional, and functional differences build the skills they need to participate more confidently in everyday life. She has extensive experience supporting families navigating complex needs, including differences in attention, regulation, motor skills, and daily routines.
Emma’s approach is collaborative, practical, and highly individualized. She works closely with parents and educators to translate clinical insight into real-world strategies that are sustainable, achievable, and meaningful in daily life.
The practice was created to offer families access to thoughtful, expert-led care that is both personal and practical—whether delivered in person or virtually.
If you’re looking for clear guidance, deeper understanding, and tailored support for your child, we would be glad to work with you. Book a free discovery call—we’ll help you figure out the next step.
