Comprehensive Assessment
Service Overview
Step 1: A structured, clinician-led 90-minute assessment process combining caregiver interview and child observation to build a comprehensive understanding of your child’s strengths, functional needs, and areas of challenge (can be done in person or virtually).
Step 2: Standardized sensory profiling completed by caregiver.
Step 3: Comprehensive written report with individualized recommendations emailed to you to review.
Step 4: 60 minute virtual follow-up session where all results and recommendations are reviewed and explained. You leave with a clear understanding and strategies to start right away.
Sensory Profile Component
As part of the assessment, caregivers complete a standardized Sensory Profile questionnaire to help understand how your child processes and responds to sensory information in daily life.
This provides insight into patterns such as:
Sensory sensitivity, avoidance, seeking, or mixed responses.
Reactions to sound, touch, movement, and visual input.
How sensory processing may impact behaviour, emotions, attention, and routines.

Follow-up Sessions
Individual Occupational Therapy Sessions
Sessions are available in your home or virtually, depending on what works best for your family and your location.
Sessions are play-based and tailored to your child, focusing on areas identified during the assessment. We focus on practical strategies that fit into your everyday life, with guidance for parents so you can confidently support your child between sessions. Sessions are 60 mins long.

Parent Consultations
Parent Consultations & Support
Parent consultation sessions are tailored to your child’s specific needs and the challenges your family is experiencing at home.
We focus on helping you understand what’s going on for your child and how to respond in ways that support regulation, connection, and day-to-day functioning.
You’ll receive practical, individualized guidance so you feel more confident and supported in navigating everyday situations with your child.
Each session is collaborative, focused, and designed to give you clear strategies you can apply right away. Sessions are 60 mins long and completed virtually.
