Emma is an occupational therapist with 13 years of diverse experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Her career has spanned both Canada and the USA, where she has worked extensively in early intervention, school settings, and virtual education environments.
Emma has a passion for supporting neurodivergent children, with a special focus on Autism, ADHD, and dyslexia/dysgraphia. She is licenced as a registered occupational therapist in Nova Scotia.
Emma loves photography, the outdoors and is passionate about animal rescue.
Alex Mackay
Program assistant
Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and will be embarking on a Master’s in Child Psychology & Education. Alex has experience supporting small-group pediatric therapeutic recreation and occupational therapy groups. Additionally, she has a strong background in organizing and facilitating STEAM-based children’s programming, blending creativity with education.
In her spare time Alex loves to read, craft and travel.
